KUNG FU PANDA FILM TITLE

Kung Fu Panda is an animated blockbuster film by DreamWorks Animation, directed by Mark Osborne and John Stevenson. It tells the story about a Panda bear who wants to become a KungFu Master.

In collaboration with DreamWorks Animation; Shine Studio was asked to developed and design a title sequence that highlights each actors animated character.

The concept and design of the title sequence, by Shine’s creative director Michael Riley, was inspired by Chinese calligraphy and landscape. The camera travels through beautifully designed landscape and shows each animated character doing their signature Kung Fu move.

As designer and animator, my role was to further develop the look and feel of the final sequences by contributing new designs and animation.
